1. INTRODUCTION

YOUELITE CORPORATION (“YouElite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard the information we obtain from:

  1. Our iOS application (“App”); and
  2. Our online platform (the “Platform”).

By using our App, Platform, or any related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please discontinue use of the Services.


2. SCOPE

This Policy applies to the personal data that YouElite collects from individuals (“you,” “user”) who access or use our Services. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from children under 13. For more information on age restrictions, please refer to our Terms of Service.


3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

3.1 Information Collected via the iOS App

  1. Personal Data

    • Name and Surname: Provided by users during sign-up or account creation.
    • Email Address: Used for login, account management, and user communication.
    • User ID (automatically generated): A unique identifier used within our systems to manage user accounts.
  2. Location (Approximate)

    • We use Google Analytics which may collect city-level or approximate location data for usage analytics. We do not collect precise (GPS-level) location.
  3. Crash and Usage Data

    • We integrate with Firebase (including Crashlytics) to collect diagnostics and crash reports, which helps us improve app stability and user experience.
    • This may include device information (e.g., OS version, device model, IP address) and usage patterns but is not directly linked to your real-world identity.
  4. Push Notification Token

    • If you enable push notifications, we collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver notifications. We use this token only for sending notifications.

3.2 Information Collected via the Online Platform

  1. Personal Data

    • Name, Email Address (similar to the App).
    • Address, Income, Sex: Additional personal information you may choose to provide for your account profile or certain functionalities on the Platform.
  2. Payment Information

    • For subscriptions, products, or services where Stripe is used, we may collect certain billing details or payment method information. However, Stripe processes payment credentials directly. YouElite does not store full payment card details on our servers.
  3. Cookies and Tracking

    • We use Google Ads cookies on our Platform to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and potentially show relevant content.
    • We may also use standard cookies for session management and to remember user preferences.
    • You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, certain features may not function properly.

3.3 Data Not Linked to You

  • Certain analytics data collected (e.g., location, usage patterns, crash logs) is aggregated or anonymized and not linked to your identity.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

4.1 Provision of Services

  • To create and manage your user account (App and Platform).
  • To enable core functionality, such as login/authentication, user profiles, and push notifications.
  • To process payments (via Stripe) if you use paid features on the Platform.

4.2 Analytics & Improvements

  • To understand how users interact with our Services, analyze usage trends, and improve performance.
  • To monitor and address crashes or technical issues via Firebase Crashlytics.
  • To refine user experiences and develop new features.

4.3 Communications

  • To respond to inquiries, provide support, or send administrative messages (e.g., account updates).
  • We may occasionally send promotional or marketing communications. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly.

4.4 Legal Obligations & Rights

  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal requests.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service or protect our rights, property, or safety.

5. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING (EEA/UK USERS)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar legislation applies, our legal bases include:

  1. Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to provide the Services you request (e.g., managing your account, fulfilling paid subscriptions).
  2. Legitimate Interests: We rely on legitimate interests for analytics, crash reporting, and platform improvements.
  3. Consent: Where required by law (e.g., certain cookies, marketing communications), we obtain your consent and honor your right to withdraw it at any time.

6. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

6.1 Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating, analyzing, or improving our Services:

  • Google Analytics & Firebase (including Crashlytics): Analytics, crash reports, and usage data.
  • Stripe: Payment processing on the Platform.
  • Hosting Providers: Servers located in the United States and Germany.

These service providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

6.2 Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency) or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6.3 No Selling or Sharing of Data

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your data for third-party advertising purposes.


7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States and Germany, where our servers are located. If you reside in a jurisdiction with data protection laws that differ from U.S. or German law, please note that we may transfer data outside of your jurisdiction. We currently do not have Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in place or other formal transfer mechanisms. By using our Services, you consent to such transfers, to the extent permitted by law.


8. DATA RETENTION

  • We retain personal data as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide Services.
  • You may request account deletion (in the iOS App) or terminate your account on the Platform; upon doing so, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, unless we need to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

9. DATA SECURITY

We implement HTTPS encryption for data in transit, and our databases are not publicly accessible. We also apply administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your data. However, no system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access, data breaches, or other cyber risks. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.


10. YOUR RIGHTS

10.1 Access, Correction, Deletion

  • You can access or update certain personal data by logging into your account.
  • You may delete your iOS App account via in-app settings. For the Platform, please contact us at customerservice@youelite.net or check account settings if available.
  • If you are in the EEA or certain other regions, you have additional rights (e.g., data portability, objection to processing) where applicable.

10.2 Opt-Out of Communications

  • You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us directly.
  • Push notifications on the iOS App can be disabled via device or app settings.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Services are not directed to individuals under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have unintentionally collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.


12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

Our Platform may include links to third-party websites or services for your convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.


13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date above or by sending a notice through our Services. Your continued use of the Services after such updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Policy.
